If its not too bad tomorrow I'll go to the library, I thought it more important today to get the milk and things for my dinners for the next few days.

I've just been watching Inside the Factory, it's in south Wales where they're making biscuits [4.4 billion a year]. It makes me want to make a cup of tea to put with them. LOLOL

Sorry Randy's had a bad day, it's good he seems to pick up quickly, poor boy.

I've not touched the puzzle today, all I've done are the edges. I should have time tomorrow to do some more .

Lorraine was right her end of the road is compacted snow and ice, very nasty to drive on. I'm not sure if I told you that the family gave me a lovely orchid on New Years Day for doing 'the game' so many times. I didn't like to tell them but I unpacked it from it's carrier box and put it on my little table and took a photo. When I got up the next day all the leaves had fallen off. I could hardly tell them, so looked on the label to find where they'd bought it and found it was M&S [Marks and Spencer]. I went in there today and told them what had happened and the lady I spoke to said, bring it back. This afternoon I retuned it and spoke to a man overseeing the self service tills. He took me to where they were and found another, almost them same, and as we stood there I pointed out one identical to mine that was in the same state. I reckon they got frosted somewhere in transport to the shop. Anyway I now have one that looks much better only in a different pot, I just hope no one notices!

Hi Janet, I went out today after watching the forecast for later in the week. It should be OK tomorrow then late Thursday and Friday a lot more snow. I'll speak with Maggie before then but think she'll be getting more where she is too.

I'm not sure it's quite as cold tonight but last night we were colder than Scotland which is very unusual. The coldest place in the country was about 50 miles from me, 12.5c or 9f ouch.
