Hi. Cold and windy here!  We dipped 24 degrees from yesterday!  Crazy.  I'm so ready for warn spring.  Even though I still can't do anything other that a slow walk.

I've messaged Ness and she'll be at the hall in the morning so I need an early night to be there on time. I hope no more puzzles arrive this week I have nowhere to put them.

My friend Sheila phoned earlier to say the twins will be at hers tomorrow. I haven't seen them for weeks so suspect they'll have grown. I have an Easter gift for them in my car, 2 soft toy dogs, I'm wondering if they're a bit big about 15 inches tall but they were so cute I had to get them.

My email address is the same and I'm not too bad I check it every 2 to 3 days, sometimes more often.

Daryn came late this morning and spent some time in the garden but when I had a sneaky look over the fence I don't think he'd done much. A bit of tidying and taking up half a dozen small slabs then he went off out and I went out shopping!

I'm not sure but think I told you the light that's normally on outside on the walkway stopped working. 2 men came and fixed something and told me they would be back with 'a piece' to complete the job. Last week they came back and the light came on but went off too early. I spoke with a very nice lady who said they'd come back and adjust the clock mechanism. so it would stay on all night. Well I don't know if they came but the light's not working again so it looks like I'll have to start my complaint all over again. Maybe they need a new light bulb. lol

Hi Janet, OMG how awful that someone gets shot just for opening their door to help a neighbour, thank goodness neither was killed. I suppose that doesn't happen here as so few people have access to guns, mind you we do have a knife culture amongst our young. They seem to think they should carry one to protect themselves. They don't seem to realise the more who carry them the more seem to get stabbed. When I was young it wasn't even something anyone thought of, I'm sure it was the same with you. I'm convinced they play violent computer games where you get more than one life and they think real life is like that with no come back. Dreadful.

It's been better today, it started at 39 and we're now 49, mind you it's been raining again.
