I did some shopping on my way back and got Sheila a tub for putting weeds in when she's doing her garden. She had one in her garage but it mysteriously became a repository of car cleaning items which belong to her granddaughter. It was easier to get another than try to find somewhere for all those bits. KIDS!!

I finally went to see auntie and had a nice afternoon drinking tea. As I was leaving her friend arrived, like I said her social life is better than mine.

I phoned cousin Hilda as I'm picking her tomorrow as it's our cousin's lunch at the fish restaurant, as far as I know they'll be 5 of us which will be fun.

I don't know how you cope with that heat, I'd be standing on Rowdy and Diane's doorstep, towel in hand, begging for a dip!

Hi Janet, another cold 59, wet day. I saw Andrew and paid my car bill, ouch! [$525] still at least I know all is well and it's safe to drive. I've asked Andrew to get me a spare wheel. I told him I don't care if it's new or from ebay I'll feel so much better every time I hit a pot hole. Maggie needed one when she clipped a curb and fortunately her rescue service had a spare one with them but had to follow her to her garage to get it back, she is now getting one herself.

I'm pleased I went over to Southwold to find the dental surgery, it's off the main road behind some houses and took me a while to find. I would have been panicking if it had been my appointment time, it was well worth the 45 minute drive just to know where it is.
