I've just read about Jerry, you've mentioned him before. It must have been quite a shock, that's the thing with heart problems they can cause unexpected death. I'm so sorry for everyone, that's how I lost my dad, one day I was chatting to him in a store and the next morning my step mother phone to say he'd gone. It's horrible, I hope your sister in law will be OK.

I had a lovely meal with my cousins, I had lemon sole with prawns and a thick cheese sauce on top. It was good and so was the dessert. I shouldn't have indulged but it was an individual chocolate bomb with ice cream and boy was it sweet. Needless to say I ate all of it but wouldn't want another for a while. lol

Hi Janet, it's been 34 but the wind chill makes it feel colder. There's a storm called Bert on it's way tonight. The forecasters are warning there could be a lot of snow. We're very fortunate here  as it's cleared at the moment and we should get rain in stead of snow tomorrow. However they are saying torrential rain and flooding in some places. If it's really bad I'll give the hall a miss, although I did want to go as I have a tombola prize to donate for the Christmas Bazaar the following Saturday.

I'm so pleased the stitches came out OK, I was thinking of you. Yesterday the nurse said my blood sugar was down a bit so she was happy but she didn't like my cholesterol level. There's nothing they can give me as I'm intolerant of statins, so it will have to stay as it is.
