I have to sort and plant some bubs and seeds that the girls gave me in Christmas gift packages. I've also tried to sort out some of the raffle prizes I won at the library. I've put them aside for the nuns as they're mostly hand creams and shower/bath gels. 

I've spent hours on the phone talking to my step brother's wife, Janet, thanking her for my Christmas present and writing a couple of thankyou letters. I sometimes think I'm the only one that still does that. It goes back to when I was a child and my mum always insisted we thanked people for our gifts and I'm sure people like to know you enjoy what they've given you.

I will need to go out tomorrow to get a battery for the clock in my lounge. I didn't know how many times I looked at it until it stopped working yesterday!

I've not touched the red person today but may spend sometime tomorrow after I've been out.

Hi Janet, I've stayed home today and am really pleased I didn't go to the other cousin's. This evening I went to put some rubbish in the bin about 8 o'clock and found my car was covered in ice. I'm so pleased I don't have a 30 minute journey home from theirs. I will be going out again on New Years Day but that's only 3 miles across town so that won't be too bad.

I spoke to my friend Sheila and she said to tell them I was at hers, I did phone and say I was going to see her and wouldn't be joining them and they were very sweet.

I've been trying to sort out the bungalow as there are still bags with the prizes for Thursday and enough to do one more for the children probably at the end of January when it's Joshua's birthday or 6 weeks later when it's Henry's.
