Don't know if I mentioned that when Maggie was here she left me a lottery ticket, it won $40 which was a nice surprise, I phoned and told her I'd save it for when she next comes here as it will pay for our fish and chips with a bit left over.

Tomorrow I'm having 'a day of rest' that means I'll be puzzling. I still have to finish the 500 piece that I started at the beginning of the week then I can make a start on the new wasjig.

If it's fine I may cut the grass, yes it's growing again!

Josh sent me a message to say he'd been offered an under 17 contract with Leicester rugby club. He started out as one of about 250 hopefuls and I think they're down to 2 or 3. If he signs and does well he could go on to play professionally for England. He's worked hard and done really well, I'm sure Tessa and Nick are very proud of him.

Aunties steroid is for the eczema/allergic reaction to penicillin given to her in hospital a few weeks back. She thinks it's the latter and her doctor is coming round to that too. She has dozens of little lumps under her skin all over her face and body.

Hi Janet, it's been almost 70  but very windy and this evening we have drizzle. I met Ness at the hall and we had a nice long catch up. I looked through the puzzles but there was nothing I was tempted with. Just as well as I got one on Thursday and I still have enough to last me the next 10 years. LOLOL

After the hall I spent a few hours and had lunch with Sheila and by the time I got home and tidied around it was time to get some dinner, somehow time just seems to fly by.

I saw D come home again this evening with Kath, I don't think he's finished the kitchen and he looked really tired, I wonder if he'll be working on it tomorrow.
