. Sorry, haven't been following the soccer/footie. Did Canada win their game? We've just had the weekend away which was lovely, our daughter and granddaughter joined us :) After a few lovely sunny days, the weather has changed and showers are predicted for the next few days. There are some dark clouds starting to cover the sky that look like they could drop some rain. I wish it would go out to where we were over the weekend - rain is desperately needed there.

I have never been close to my sisters. There is 4 years between me and the next eldest. Being the eldest I got a different treatment than they did. I got married when I was 17 to get away from the heartache. Had a daughter and lost a son before he was born. I've gotten a bad chest cold from somewhere and with my Fibromyalgia and COPD I'm not having a good day. I hope your day went better. Hugs.

Hi Stephanie, we've just come back from a lovely swim.at the beach. It was wonderful to feel cool for a short while. Bit of irony, they had to cancel a meeting on global warming and climate change in London today due to it being too hot to host it!! Scary times x

England were such a disappointment. They just didn't seem to have any ideas! .. we're watching the Canada game on our tablet in the garden. They are playing well. Everything crossed for them and for Scotland later.
