Volunteers create hundreds of blankets for Montreal women in need

Dear Members,

For those that helped to knit squares or donated wool for the project, below you will find a link to the news article and video from this past weekend when they were on display at Place Ville Marie.

All in total 344 blankets were made, as an organization we contributed about 25 to 30 blankets. I do not have a total of the funds that were raised.

Hopefully this is a project that we can get involved with again next year.

splashed-- It has been a quiet day for me--just tea this afternoon which for a change was well attended and someone in the building bough a box of exotic flavored sherberts for us to have. Still haven't found the lost phone but will make do with 2. Son coming over tomorrow and I will go get the groceries I need and then he will be off  turkey hunting again for  the long weekend.  Have a good night.

Happy Wednesday! Tad bit warm out there today! Temps aren’t much higher than yesterday but the humidity is on the rise. Have some laundry to do tonight and I think it’s finally time to put the electric blanket away for the season. Tonight’s plans are- keep on with my diamond painting. I’ve never had one take 5 months before! But then again I was off to a slow start with the health issues I was getting sorted and I’ve done a lot of miniatures and book nooks!  Have a great evening!
