Happy Saturday Mary! Sounds like you had a good day. I got hubby's meds. Then some milk. Then went to the thrift store to try to find a fuzzy blanket for my son. Instead I bought a new bathmat and a pair of moccasin slippers for myself. Now I have 3 pairs of slippers. The ones I am wearing now are not going to work in the dead of winter. When it gets cold I have to have warm feet!
Tomorrow we take our son to a church 40 minutes away and then we are going to meet some friends, then do shopping. Before it was just me, but now hubby will come too, because our friends will be coming there too. That will be so nice.
Funny you talked about chickens. We just found out some neighbours want to give us 3 roosters! Holey Moley. So now we will have to get some chickens, which means we will need a coop. Its so funny. Our son says he will buy the chickens. So I guess we will have our own eggs. I'm gonna have to learn how to be a chicken owner. And this is supposed to happen on Tuesday. Wow! 3 roosters who get along great, but they are going to need chickens. If we don't take them we know who would so we will see what happens.

Most of those rock pets look like groot! They are so cute. I can see why you brought some home.
I'm trying to cut back on knick knacks myself. I have way too many!
I didn't know you could eat the seeds of a maple tree. I just love them. And hubby thought we could get syrup so he picked all the maple trees they offered. We have one maple tree and we've never tapped it.
Our son worked today on cleaning and he requested pork chops for dinner and all the green beans I picked. So he mashed to potatoes and I made shake and bake pork. Hope that we can get hubby to eat something besides chicken broth.
