Hi Mary thank you most kindly for the iguana. Oh golly the heat is crazy. At least with the door shut I can handle it. I have hamburger out of the freezer. Trying to figure out what to make for supper. I don't want to be heating up the kitchen. The boy has gone out with friends and I don't know when he will be back. I plan on a cool shower here soon. That should help so much. I really need to keep cool.
I hope you have ice packs today and the heat isn't so bad for you. I haven't seen any smoke yet which is weird. But I guess maybe its not that windy to carry it here. I have to drive down that way tomorrow early so I hope they get some of it contained. I know they are keeping one of the lakes clear so they can take water from there to dump on the fire.
I can see it being an early bedtime tonight. I don't want to miss getting to my destination in lots of time. Have a great night Mary. Stay cool and relax! :)

Happy Sunday Mary. Another scorcher today! Wicked hot. And to top it off there are fires on either side of us. Its pretty scary. Been praying about it. To the east of us and to the west of us, there are some pretty nasty fires. We need rain! There are just a few patches of green grass in our yard. Most is brown.
So I'm not going out today. Its way too hot. I will stay inside and hope and pray they put the fires out before they get any closer. Funny that we've had smoke from fires far away, but these that are closer and there is no mention of the smoke.
Hope Ringo finally starts to feel better and that your sales pick up. Its been a tough weekend. All the roosters are gone. Raccoons got the 2 that were left this past week. So I guess the owners knew and my son has buried them on their property.
