When I was little garden snakes were common ,unfortunally, they are no longer found in the city.
Speaking of birds ,in the morning  three or four Crimson-fronted Parakeet used the Church to rest and make some noise lol

Happy Monday Mary. What a gorgeous day. Pretty hot out there. I slipped into town because my friend told me about some bug zappers that you can buy and so I bought a couple. Have a lot of flies in the house. Drives me crazy. These little gizmos kill them as soon as you hit them. They take a couple of batteries and look like a badminton racket. I bought one for upstairs and 1 for downstairs. Mailed a letter and grabbed lots of veggies for the veggie tray for dinner tomorrow night at Regena's. The congregation is having a dinner for Anne who moved down east last year and has come up to visit. So that's pretty awesome. Will be nice to visit with her. Don't know if I told you. Carol's Dad passed away on Thursday. He was 96. So she's gone to Toronto to deal with all that. Its been hard on her. So I've been praying for her.
I really hope you aren't still feeling anxious. I think its been kind of stressful when hubby goes thru depression. Then planning things for your Mom. Its catching up on you. Tonight I hope you get some quiet time to recharge. Take care Mary things will smooth out! (((HUGS)))
