Hello from a very burnt Pearly. The fire is under control now. we were trapped for about 9 hours, which was scary. Our poor little town is black with ash.
Fortunately we were able to get through to get Hubby to the airport in time. Boy, were we stressing. I can't believe the time has gone so fast. He is in basically a camp type of situation as the mine is on it's own.
so tired now, going to go have a nice long sleep.
