Hi Kathy ! Light Pollution really isn't the Issue. When you slow down the Camera Lens, it it gets jiggled at all, you get a blurry picture. Just breathing, during a slower shot, can really mess things up. With a Tripod, the Camera isn't attached to a Human, and you can slow the speed down enough,to shoot in the Dark, with just the light of the moon. It can be confusing, if you have never used Time Lapsed Photography. I hope she continues to explore it ! It's pretty cool :-))
