That does not sound like a fun group, rather it sounds like work. Some of the quilt guilds are like your knitting one where the focus is on charity quilts. That can be fine for a bit, but wears over time.
Do you have access to lidocaine patches? They help for when you can’t just sit on the heating pad.
I got all my plants back out now that frost is done. There still could be another couple of nights but with our Mother’s Day next weekend we should be safe. I did plant some chives and savory in my outside herb pot. There still could basil I have inside until it warms up. There still heirloom tomatoes and peppers that I ordered from one of the nurseries should be arriving soon. That will be exciting to see how they grow and what they taste like.
