Hope Murdo isn’t too stressed by the maneuvers. Glad your bakery went over a treat. The Russian tea cakes are a layered pastry with golden raisins inside and I think brown sugar and maybe cinnamon. But not overwhelming cinnamon. The baker is this tall biker dude with food tattoos on his arms. He does not look like a baker with the lightest hand for pastries. Most Russian tea cakes are hockey pucks but his float and have just a hint of glaze on top. They freeze well too so I usually stock up when I get out to his shop and ration them until they are gone.
We started the day at 4.4 and now it is -5 and lots of snow coming down. Fortunately I don’t have to go in to work until after 10 so the roads should be clear by then.
