Sitting and listening to the quiet is one of my favorite things. Fortunately the house I bought 7 years ago has a marvelous back garden with a swing. I have added a variety of bushes that have meaning for me. The mimosa tree reminds me of my childhood in Texas. My mother loved dogwood blooms, so I have a red twigged shrub and a dogwood tree. There is a weigelia cause it is pretty. I have added witch hazel, Spicebush, and a Ninebark was just added. It is a nice oasis to come home to in the afternoon.
