Yes, being able to not only swear but do it loudly and in public was a whole new (and very enjoyable) experience 😉 When I first started going to matches 87/88 it was very different to later years and, hopefully, now. The whole hooligan thing was really becoming an issue and we very rarely went to away games, it just wasn't worth the risk. Somehow I can't imagine it being like that in Ireland! Aww I'm glad you have those memories xx
