It's that time of year when we remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. A time I remember my dear friend's son L/Cpl Peter Eustace who was killed in Afghanistan 16/11/11 At the going down of the sun, and in the morning we will remember them .

Continuing to pray  for all areas where there is conflict, injustice, hatred, pain. Praying for there to be peace, tolerance, hope, and unity

Of the many Rylee knows how to do I think "Shut the Door" is really useful. We have  again winterized the gazebo with clear tarps and a door. Hubby and I go out in the evening he for a smoke and playing with Jojo. Me for conversation and of course working with Rylee. Rylee will run around the yard and I leave the door unlatched so he can push it open - but in the winter it gets cold so he needs to shut the thing after he comes in! I taught him to do this last year but he would really slam the thing. This year I'm asking him to shut it "gently" and surprise he does! It's quite nice - he is excited when I say "YES! Good job!" and he gets his treats. I can't wait to see what else he will learn this year. Happy Friday.

🦃🦃⛈️Friday morning, cool and rainy. We are blessed with badly needed gentle rain! A friend who lives in another city come over this morning for help with a knitting project. She had bought yrn 6 months ago and the store keeper hand wrote a pttern that my friend couldn't figure out. We got it straightened out and she is going to try it tonight.  Errands to do this afternoon, picking up meds for new kitty, and grocery stops at 2 stores,Yesterday I organized all my knitting needles which was quite the project!
