We're not planning on going Anywhere but, 1 good thing is my Sister-N-Law lives really close to us & they have a generator that runs the whole house & a finished basement 😉 I'd heard earlier today, somewhere between 5-800 lbs of ICE on some structures and Power Lines 😖 Your right, southern States aren't nearly as prepared as the Northern,  We just don't normally get ice like this & especially snow like ya'll get forsure 😉 Ice buildup on the Lines, we could loose power for days or weeks!!
