Spotted a Ghostly Field Mouse ty

The other night I thought I'd give Rylee a test. He lay on the floor in front of me and I put a treat on either front foot (which is not a new thing for him) I then put one on his back foot - then waited. After a few minutes I told him to "Get it" - He sat there looking at his feet not moving. I repeated "Get it" he still waited. I said "Okay get it!" He seemed to not know what to do first so he stood up - all the treats fell to the floor and then he picked them up. I do not know what he thought but it was interesting. Happy Friday!

Rylee is a funny boy - but he doesn't mean to be funny. I keep him with me in the mornings so hubby can go outside for his morning smoke. I try to keep Rylee happy with his treats - there are five of them at this moment on the shelf beside me. I put them all on the floor for him and he refuses them. However when hubby comes up for his shower Rylee will grab up one of the treats and hold it in his mouth looking out into the hallway. When he sees hubby he will growl - wagging his tail. I'm sure he's telling all that these are his treats and although he had NO interest in any of them two minutes ago he will not share them! He does this to anyone (except me) that comes up the stairs - our son will stop in front of the door telling Rylee that he's a big "scary dog" Rylee wags his tail madly while growling. He will then lay down with his treat and finally chew it. He just wanted someone else to want it I guess. Happy Thursday.
