Sprinkles

It was crazy foggy this morning and very dark grey most of the day. Once the fog lifted it seemed a tad brighter but we never saw any hint of the sun. How did you do with turning your clocks back? I think ours is coming up this weekend. I hope you’re getting a little better weather, this time of year is so unpredictable.

Well it’s been a long week   1/2 here. Gremlin had to go to the vet 3 days in a row, we weren’t sure he was going to make it one night, I was beside myself! I had to force feed him for 4 days, he completely stopped eating and drinking water, they had to give him 3 shots of anti nausea medication on Friday and Saturday. He was able to hold water down on Sunday but refused to eat or drink anything. I was up every 1 to 2 hours to wrap him and force feed him. Finally on Sunday night he had a few laps of water on his own! I had to force feed him until Monday night when he took a few licks of this really runny food called Lil Soups. He’s started to eat on his own and he’s even asking for food now. The fecal test they sent in tested positive for corona virus, not covid 19 a different strain. Since he’s allergic to the regular vaccine, he is unvaccinated and his age plus allergies and sensitive stomach, it hit him really hard. They said I was a very attentive mom, lol! After 1200$ worth of tests, meds and bloodwork, I’d better be attentive!! I have to keep the 2 cats separated until tomorrow as I’ve had to give Kitty her 2nd dose of dewormer and I’m not taking any chances of the 2 cross contaminating each other.
