Hello Lorraine xx How infuriating having the wrong eye prescription! Well at least they sorted just hope you dont have to wait long for your glasses. The ceiling fan does make a noise but so very quiet at the same time, im very noise sensitive in bed and it doesn't bother me at all. Have bought another two and they arrived today so can have lounge and both bedrooms, it really is a god send in this heat xx
