Hi Ed
Oh rubik cube. Never had the patience. Jim did it by using a book. Can't understand how these people do it in seconds.
Got very humid after lunch. It rained a little.
Put a collar on Dr Watson. He stormed off. Don't think he was impressed.
Have a good evening

Morning splash--It is hazy this morning and Kevin said they had steady rain through the night but I never heard any thing  but we need all the rain we can get right now, I am off shortly downstairs to get the laundry done(hopefully the machines are working) I think that will be my energy gone for the day. We shall see about sitting out(may be raining by then) but could do with some nice conversation. Have as good day

Hello Ed, my dinner was tasty. I had to stop myself from eating it all as I usually cook a meal to last for 2 days. The rissoles are the best. When I first purchased then I wondered about beetroot however it works. RE. Corner store. It is the shop that I go to each morning for my morning coffee. It is far away from the main shopping area at Rye. It is a 5 minute walk for me and that is where I have made so many new friends and The Monday Morning Coffee Group has now established itself. It is not quite like the corner store that we would have known when growing up. However it does sell all the usual needs re. milk and bread etc. All organic and as I may have said a bit pricey. However I prefer to shop there than a supermarket. I well remember corner stores from my childhood. Mum would send me there to buy a fresh half loaf of bread and on the way home I would try not to not pick away at the open end. Usually unsuccessful and it was only a 5 minute walk. The corner store also had a lolly counter and the joy of having a few pennies to spend there. A sherbert stick comes to mind and bananas, shaped like the real fruit. I could select a few sweets and they were placed in a paper bag. Ah! memories. Now I am getting ready for bed and finish the Richard Osman book, 'We Solve Murders.' I am not reccomending that one for you. It is not as funny as the Thursday Murder Club. Good night my friend.

Hello Ed, re. pruning your neighbours trees. You have every right to prune what hangs over your fence. It is on your property after all. Just don't prune anything over the fence line. I am so lucky that I have generally had good neighbours. Now it is time for me to think about preparing dinner. Organic rissoles with beetroot and garlic that I purchase from the corner  store. They are so tasty. I will also have my usual fried mushrooms and tomato with fresh spinach leaves also purchased from the corner store. I think that I will also sneak in some frozen mashed potatoes. Now to go and do it. Hugs.

Hello ED, re. The Big Banana in Queensland. The only good thing about it was that it introduced me to chocolate covered frozen bananas. So easy to make at home. Did Tracey end taking home all of the outside toys or just a few? I went to the hairdressers today and now feeling quite pampered. Enjoy your day.

splashed- Its another very hot one starting out here today but maybe rellief is in sight as they say about noon light rain and temps dropping==I hope so as everything needs a good soaking. Fire bans are in place and now there isno outside fires allowed(ought to be hard on the encampments) Don't buy any excavating type toys unless you want your garden all rearranged!!!) Have a good day and I hope not too much is said about your tree trimming.
