Morning splash-- SBL ty It is a edull oveercast morning here and looks like our warm weather spell is over because the forcast calls for night Temps down near freezing.Either they have learned how to run this heating system here or something because on the night when its got well down there is some heat still coming out of the rads.  I just got a phone call from Kevin(was raining too hard this morning so they haven't gone out hunting, but he also wa worried because apparently the ploice have been in his driveway the past 3 days--he has a summons to court as a witness to an accident last winter, but kept him awake on and off most of the night wondering why the police would be wanting him!! They have just been in and cleaned the exhaust vent over my stove so another job done . Don't think the audio books would do me as I keep going back to reread parts but then most of the books I read a murder or some sort of mystery and I have to recheck a clue or something. Have a good day and I am glad you found a couple of puzzles.

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. Sorry that you had a bad day at the supermarket! I am a bit worried about Mungo as he was late home in fact I had to carry him inside when I finally saw him sitting outside. Not sure what is going on? I will go now and try and sort it out.

Hello Ed, I have put my shower work on hold for the moment as I have been busy with Mum. I did have a laugh after crazy Trump demanding the ballroom in the White House for security one day and then telling Charles the next day that it was safe for him to visit the White House. A king visiting a pretend king. Not sure why Charles is even there? CRAZY!

Morning splash-- we have sunshine and starting the day at 8 so we should warm up nicely. Good try--I hope it works and she goes to pick out some puzzles--fresh air and exercise will do her good. I will only get some turkey if Kevin gets a couple--those don't go far as there is meat that is not really very tender(the legs and thighs   are quite tough and are usually done in the slow cooker for pulled turkey or soup.)Apparently Kevin did see one yesterday but was not in a good spot to be shot. Lots of time yet--they have 2 weeks and it still is open until the end of may. Have a good day--they must be doing some reno as I have a terrible noise--Have a good day.

Hello Ed, thank you for the mouse. This morning at the Coffee Club 2 people passed books for me to read as I had expressed interest in them when they spoke about them recently. My books to be read pile is growing! That is great that Sandra can still answer trivia questions successfully! Perhaps you should all start up a Trivia quiz night again. I have now had dinner and will soon be in bed with a book and 2 cats for company. Enjoy your day!

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. I didn't do anything special for ANZAC day. What I did do was research Indigneous people who served. That was interesting. I had my usual wonderful Monday with the Coffee Club and then worked at the Oppie this afternoon. Didn't have to get grumpy about Mal randomly throwing books out as he was told about the hundreds of dollars found in a book last week. I am sitting out on the Verandah writing to you but will soon go inside and heat up my dinner of lasagna. The sun is now setting and the cats want to come inside to be fed so I must obey! Enjoy your day!

Good morning splash-- The sun has arrived in its full glory this morning but its not veery warm at only  but can't have everything. It cleared up yesterday  so I got a phone call -- grandson John was the first one to get a bird but I think the others were putting him in the best spot that theyknew of because he only has the weekend to shoot--now we need the other 3 to be successful and they will all be happy'. Usually they cut up and share the meat but with turkeys there is not a lot to share and some parts such as the legs are rather tough. I hope when you go tomorrow you can find some easier puzzles toi have around for Sandra as for now at least if she doesn't have to tackle them alone is keeping her occupied, maybe withe the better weather a few nice little walks might be in order. A few things to get done this morning and then the day is mine--watched the womens golf--which was good but like you can't get into this pairs format so usually go off and find something else. Have agood Sunday

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. Dinner now done, and I will soon be in bed to continue reading the book about the Australian book shop in Paris. I will not reccommend it as a book to read as it so slow. However for your info it is, 'Left Bank Waltz. The Autralian Bookshop in Paris' by Elaine Lewis. It opened in 1996. I wonder if it is still there? In the meantime I am going to hit the sack! Which is an interesting term for going to bed. I hope that you have a good day!
