Hello Ed, my dinner was tasty. I had to stop myself from eating it all as I usually cook a meal to last for 2 days. The rissoles are the best. When I first purchased then I wondered about beetroot however it works. RE. Corner store. It is the shop that I go to each morning for my morning coffee. It is far away from the main shopping area at Rye. It is a 5 minute walk for me and that is where I have made so many new friends and The Monday Morning Coffee Group has now established itself. It is not quite like the corner store that we would have known when growing up. However it does sell all the usual needs re. milk and bread etc. All organic and as I may have said a bit pricey. However I prefer to shop there than a supermarket. I well remember corner stores from my childhood. Mum would send me there to buy a fresh half loaf of bread and on the way home I would try not to not pick away at the open end. Usually unsuccessful and it was only a 5 minute walk. The corner store also had a lolly counter and the joy of having a few pennies to spend there. A sherbert stick comes to mind and bananas, shaped like the real fruit. I could select a few sweets and they were placed in a paper bag. Ah! memories. Now I am getting ready for bed and finish the Richard Osman book, 'We Solve Murders.' I am not reccomending that one for you. It is not as funny as the Thursday Murder Club. Good night my friend.
