Hello Ed, we one and it was an exciting match! We are in the final 4 now. Re. my plumbing problems. As I was in my shower the other morning and half way through washing my I I went to adjust the hot water tap and the whole jolly thing popped off. So I finished washing my hair and forced the tap back on so that I could turn the water off. It popped off yesterday as well. Plumbers are too expensive to get over the weekend so I will wait until Monday. Today I went and purchased the taps that I want. I had a lovely surprise visit today. Shannon's first girlfriend called in and took me to lunch. We have remained in contact both in person and on the phone over the years. It was a lovely catch up. Home again and after a lunch and a glass of wine I don't feel like taking on too much. Enjoy your day.

splashed-- It is a sunny morning but rather chilly. No heat on here yet,think that may the beginning of Oct. but for me it could wait until Nov or even Dec. with how hot it gets in here. Did watch the golf and yes with the smaller field it is not so drawn out. Early start for golf today to try to beat the storms . Just discovered that I should have order some pills so I guess order them and then make an extra stop this afternoon and pick them up because no time to get them delivered. Have a good day.

Went out last night to Prezzo with friends. It's a pasta place, very nice. Because it had been my birthday,  I got free cake and 40% off. Very happy with that. On the way back to the car, I saw the most beautiful cat. I stroked her and she followed me. One of the women I was with recognised her as a misding cat from Facebook. I tried to catch her but she ran off. I posted on Facebook where she was and the owner found her. I was really happy. Facebook can be very toxic. But it worked this time.

Hello Ed, TY for the Peace Dove. That was brave of you to try the unicycle. What is your heating system? Mine is a floor gas heated system and sometimes when I have accidentily nudged the heat up it comes on even when I did think it was off. Hmmm Grandchildren interfering with home heating / cooling appliances is not good. That would make me cross. I think that Collingwood is playing Melbourne tonight? I can almost hear the beginings of the game on the radio in my bedroom. We have to really score well tonight! So I will soon go to bed and listen to the game as I read about Walter and Hattie. Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. I am really enjoying the book now and like you I love Hattie and Walter. That was a sad tale about how your friend ended up in the Nursing Home. I didn't know that he had saved a child's life. And wonderful that the child keeps in touch with him. You may recall that I got the term 'late' from the First Ladies Detective Agency stories by Alexander McCall Smith. If you are ever looking for funny books he is a go to. I am home home now after a busy afternoon at the Op. Shop. Well it Was busy in the back room. Not many customers. I spotted an older lady looking at the books and told her that whatever she chose she could have them for $1. Not sure why I did that. Took her name to the front desk and told Cheryl. I just happened to be there when the lady came to purchase a selection of books. Then the lady told me that she was volunteering at a Senior's Centre and wanted to start up a Library there. I couldn't have been happier. Enjoy your day.
