Morning splash-- It is a mess outside-- dull,dark and wet and possible ice on the roaads. The last day of school and half the kids will miss it because the buses are cancelled. It got up to 7 yesterday but then the rain moved in and we maybe had a flash feeze early this morning. I am still confined to the apartment trying to get everything done. Todat will be wrap one possible 2 presents then get on to doing a little cleaning. Will try to push the vaccuum around first and get those parts clean then it the arms(back and all the rest of me) holds up will start with the mop on the floors. That has tired me out just thinking of it!!  Got a nice phone call from Rhonda last night --she shot a nice little doe with the crossbow.She has been having trouble getting her yardages right but last night at the back of their property Scott(who had surgery on his elbow 2 weeks ago) was able to go out with her and maybe steady her so she made the double lung shot. But Scott could not do anything except talk he through everything. She had to drag the deeer out to the truck,get it home and in the barn then gut it,hang it and skin it with instructions from Scott. A learning on the job experience. So looks like there will be some work to do for the rest of them besides going out hunting. A very happy girl!! Have a good day off to try and get ahead of the game!!!

Morning splash-- It is  1 and dull here so heaven only knows what we will get. Last nights supper went really well, the lady who was organizing it turned it into a proper meal not one we ate out of a delivery box. She ordered the meal but in family style, ordered whole chickens and cut them up herselfmthe potatos came in containers we just dumped into serving bowls and so of the lady even brough deserrt. Except for a few hitches (one of the husbands was rather loud and at times not proper language for mixed company) but boy was it a sourse of news. I am not the only one with heat problems seems there is quite a few,including my next door neighbour who I finally got to meet. They have no heat at all and can't really  even turn the stove on for heat as all the new tenents pay their own hydro and that gets expensive. Also he said the girl in the office was fired--again!!! I have enough chicken probably for 3 more meals--the chickens  were huge, Today I hope to get the wrapping finished and move on to a couple of days of cleaning before I start the pork pies and last minute stuff. I hope you have a better outing today and yes too many people and too many conversations that you miss half of what is being said. Have a good day

Hello ED, another warm day. Amira worked quite hard here today. She repaired a leaking tap, vaccuumed and washed my floors and when they get home from the beach she will make dinner. All I hve to do is prep some vegetables for her. Amira and my daughters re always wonderful house guests. Last night we had take awy pizza and birthday cake to celbrate Shannon's birthday. I hope that you enjoyed your ctch up with your Ping mates.
