Morning splash-- I have a sheet of white in front of my windows and I hope it is just fog(can't realyl see any new snow) but guess seen as it is only -3 the fog has rolled in. Today is Family  Day here--a holiday but as usual not one for me as every day is a holiday(sort of) Yes did see Rory was at Pebble Beach,maybe he had to be as it is a compulsory tournament and If I remember he won it last year. I was really surptised at Sheffler--I thought he would miss the cut and then there he is when I flip to the golf; He maybe turn out to be better than even Tiger but of course no one will admit that. I watched golf instead of Olympics with all the controversay and it was some ending--nice to see Morikiwa back and playing well. Will see what is on with the olympics today and whether its worth watching. Glad you had a good day yesterday.

Hello ED, Mindy is safe and sound inside the house now. I walked to the side of my house calling Mindy's name and then I heard a pathethic mew. She was on the other side of the high fence. I called her name a couple of times and she jumped over and followed me into the house. Much cooler than outside in 30 degrees heat. As Mindy had not come home before I went to the OP shop I have worried all afternoon. I usually do not like leaving the house if the cats are outside. Neither of them co operated this morning so I had to leave. Mungo was there when I returned. Not Mindy and as I said, most unlike her. I kept going out and calling her. Also wondering how I could break it to Lynne that Mindy was missing. Lynne still hasn't arrived in her bus. I thuink that it it arriving now.

Hello Ed, that is wonderful that you had  great time with your family. I am sure that the conversation re technology was interesting. I am expecting Lynne any moment and Mindy has been missing most of the day. Most unlike her. I will go and try calling her yet agian.

Morning splash--mallard ty It is getting a bit brighter  like maybe the sun will break through but right now is a little hazy looking. I will watch the olympics if it is something interesting and It does not get to be high stress for me(I whimp out then and change chanels and then come back to see the results) I think it will mostly be Pebble Beach this afternoon and Kevin will be immersed in the car racing. Hello Ed, as I was getting ready for bed, now in my PJays. I remembered a radio show that I was listening to on my way home from Mums. It was about HOT foods like your Korma. It seems that the last thing you should do is drink water as it inflames the heat of the food. That is why Indian restuarants have a side dish of yoghurt. It cools the heat. Milk can also help. Now I am off to bed as the cats are safely inside and I have shared this with you. Birthday hugs!

Hello Ed, I hope that your birthday lunch works out. I guess that Sandra is tired after yesterday.She may also think that was your birthday was yesterday?   I remember one year when Brian and I were going to Tasmania on the ferry for an Art show that Brian had a piece of work in. I was so concerned with getting us there, taking time off school etc. that I forgot that his birthday was also the day we landed in Tasmania. He quietly told me when we settled into our room in Hobart. I was devastated. Enjoy your day!
