Morning splash-- field mouse ty It rained heavy most of the night and my windows are all wet so must have been a wind too. It is 9 and very foggy this morning with heavy rain warnings out but will go shopping when Kevin gets here and then back here to stay in and Kevin is going to do my income taxes. I am glad that you were able to have a good time with your daughters visit--we all seem to mellow with years and what was so important once is not the end of the world. Have a good day.

Hello ED, TY for the Mallard. Sarah and family arrived around midday. I have had an enjoyable day day with them. We are all exhausted. I am happy that you had an open conversation with Hayley. It seems that you are both moving in the right direction, towards each other with understanding. In the meanwhile i will say good night. 

Morning splash--mallard th. It is not as nice a days start todaycan't see across the road for fog but It is certainly better than snow. I guess you have your work cut out for you keeping and eye on the dog,don't want to lose and of the flowers coming up/ I will try again to reorganize my freezers but maybe I should as I have my kids all be sarcatic and inferring that if I make  room when I go for groceries I will just over buy and have to curse fitting every thing in again.Like I say less work for me if I either starve myself or just don't bother reorganizing. You will catch onto the crochetting and figure your own system. We have one lady at tea that is very discouraging for most of us,she knits and crochet but will knot a whole sweater in one week and can make us the lap blankets in a day--hard on us slow pokes that take months at the very least. Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. I totally agree with Hayley about teaching. Does she teach in primary ( 6 to 12 yo.) school or higher eduction?  I hope that you enjoy 'Orbital.' It did win the Booker prize.  No wonder that the Library has many copies. I actually regret passing the book on to Monday Coffee Club members. As I may have already told you, I am facinated with Space travel. Dinner now done. Leftovers. Now it is time for bed and in the morning Sarah and family will arrive. I hope that I will have time to get my morning coffee and vaccuum the house and free it of cat hair. They are early risers so I expect they will be here mid morning. Now time for bed. Hello ED, Sarah and her family will arrive Saturday morning and leave Monday. I am like you with my phone, half the time I don't know where it is. My watch tells me if someone is calling. Perhaps you coukld go to that craft group. I am sure that everyone there would like to help you. Sandra may even be encouraged to go again? Another busy and enjoyable afternoon at the OP shop. Haha! 2 full shopping bags of CD's and I could only shelve 10. The rest were either copies or simply empty. Enjoy your new day.

splashed---- We have a not bad start to the day ,it is 2 and no sun but bright. Yes apparently B C is going on daylight savings time for good,they will jump forward this weekend and stay there,apparently we are not following suit yet. Tea was funny-- to start with it looked like only 2 of us(one at each end of the tables) then slowly people drifted in and we ended up with a not bad crowd, Kevin is coming on Sat/ I will go grocery shopping and he is going to do my income taxes. So I am foing too have to do some clearing I think . I have been eating well but with just one of me things do not go down very quickly.  Have a good day and enjoy your visitors.

Hello ED, Ty for the Mouse. As far as I know Lynne didn't talk about conspiracy theories with my friends. I did hear her starting a conversation with one of the Coffee Clubbers about Mary Magdelene being Jesus' wife. We don't really discuss religion in the group so I was anxious. I was involved in another conversation and really should not have worried as the following day Anne gave a book title to me to pass onto Lynne. She said that she was really interested in her chat with Lynne. Speaking of books, did I tell you that I read a novel called, Orbital? It is all about a group of 6 astronauts on a space station orbiting the earth for 6 months. I found it fascinating. I told Jennifer in the UK about it and now she has read it and also enjoyed it. Now I really should do my vaccumming tp prepare for Sarah's visit on the weekend. Enjoy your new day.
