Hello Ed, enjoy the birthday weekend. Guttering all and bill paid. No quote for the shower replacement as yet. Hugs.

Hello Ed, does your watch vibrate when a call comes in or when it wants to nag? Mine does and it annoys me. I tendered my tomato plant today. I put in more stakes and tied up stalks as the fruit is growing underneath. Then I heavily watered it. Dinner now done and I have eaten all of my left overs. The corner shop did not have my rissoles in and Frank was apologetic. They are the best rissoles made with local beef, beetroot and garlic. I am driving to Dandenong tomorrow to visit Mum. Happy Valentine's day to you! I hope that the cakes all sold. They looked wonderful.

Hello ED, the rib eye is Australian. I am lucky as our local Woolworths has a butcher section so I don't have to buy it pre packaged. The butcher always greets me with, "Hello Mate!" Did you answer your phone on your watch? Enjoy your day.

Morning splash-- We are almost sunny this morning but -13. It is supposed to warm up through the day to 2 or 3 and so far no messy stuff. Yes the mail service has gone down hill here --to many people think they are more important than the rest of us and want top dollar for as little work as possible. Most of us don't even know the porice of a stamp any more.I am not going crazy with my Olympic watching in that I am not up at 3 am to watch--will wait for a recap. and for the most part my nerve system will not take the pressure.Looks like our weather is going to settle into the near freezing mark and not too much in the forecast so maybe they can get some of these high snow banks cut down but there is no where for them to truck it to as everything is full. Have a good day

Hello ED, TY for the mouse. That was a strange dream that you had. Blue electrical wires like spaghetti? Confusion? Night is now falling and Mungo wants to be inside. Mindy is most likely at the front door. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, TY for the Polar Bear. I was writing to you and then somehow pressed a wrong key so I will try again. I met Steve Biddulph through school as he was giving a talk to parents and teachers. Re. my watch, I did put it on the charger last night but neglected to turn the switch on. Today whilst I was working at the op shop it alerted me to the fact that it needed recharging. It is now on the charger again WITH THE SWITCH TURNED ON. I no longer use a land line phone. Happily I managed to shelve a lot of books, DVD's and CD's today. You were brave trying the Korma again. My rib eye last night was great and I still have some for tonight. I just have to cook up some mushrooms and tomatoes to go with it. And add a small salad. I hope that Tracey had her children with her last night to celebrate her birthday. Enjoy your day.

Morning splash-- peaace dove and sunlight seed ty. The sun is shining and we are -10 this morning but if the forecasters are right it could become a little icy out there. Mild temperatures and freezing drizzle is forecast. Yes tea went very well and we even had cups and saucers. Some whose fingers are not so agile had a little trouble holding on to the small handle(good thing is they don't hold a lot so are not as heavy)(our mugs that we use are all china name brands) There was a few more showed up too (as usual when there is something special)so conversations were a little different. The Tumbler Creek shootings were top of the list thoughAs you say you hoped Tracey's kids did something for here--it does get very lonely on those special day when you don't hear from  people. Have a good day.
