Morning splash-- Happy Canada day!! So far this morning it is 27 so going tto be another hot one but I am not going out to celebrate so should be able to stay cool. Possibly the newpills will make Sandr sleep more until her system gets used to it. Time is flying so -here it is July already and half the year is gone.I won't be going out to celebrate as I am well beyond that--besides crowds and a walker do not get along very well. Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. That was interesting re. urine infection triggering dementia. I went to art group today. There were 6 children there as Grandparents caring for them during the school holidays. Also a chap came with his guitar and sang old pop songs to us. That was a novelty. I was shown how to prepare a small canvas that I grabbed from the bin at the Opppie. I think that I will TRY and paint a Magpie on it in acrylics. A friend from Mansfield sent me a photo of a Magpie singing on a stump. He takes photos of birds and I saved that one. I then worked on my water colour painting of a Magpie singing to the sun. I enjoyed my time there. Wishing you a good day!

Morning splash-- You think you got hot--yesterday there was some areas of the province topped the 40 mark and today is going to be hotter and more humid. It is mostly cloudy and 24 at 8am. I guess it will be go like the devil and get a few things done then hibernate in the cool and dark and there is nothing on tv that is interesting--I have even got desperate and turn on socceer/football but not anything that I could get into(of course maybe it would be better if we were more familiar with the game and there wasn't so many delays of play or all these dramaticfall and injuries.I am sure Sandra should be in a good mood and happy with the new puzzles--she can just do her thing and sit and have quiet without someone telling her what to do. We may be getting older and forget a few thingsbut if it doesn't bother me why should everything be corrected. Have a good day--I will be in hiding in the dark with the a/c on andtrying to keep cool. Hello Ed, TY for the White Mouse and PD. Re. the Monday Morning Coffee Club we all sit outside. The corner shop is a grocery shop therefore no room inside. We sit outside under shelter. When I arrived on Monday, a little earlier than I usually do, Roxie rushed around outside setting up our tables. When the others arrived someone spotted Roxie looking at us from inside. Then she appeared with a lovely organic apple as a gift for each of us. How kind. Roxie is a worker, not the owner. Just another reason why I love living here. I didn't get to my wardrobe but did rearrange some painting supplies. Now my dinner is done and I will soon be in bed. Wishing you a good day.

Hello Ed, TY for the Pygmy mouse. I am glad that Sandra's wound is healing. You should harvest your sunflower. I have sent you more to plant. In order to grow them they have to be spotted within an hour of flowering. Yes, One Nation is a Political party and as I told you they are not getting my vote. I wont go into my reasons why as F/L should not be a political forum. It has been raining all day here. My real garden is well watered. I even drove around the corner for my morning coffee.
