splashed- Its another very hot one starting out here today but maybe rellief is in sight as they say about noon light rain and temps dropping==I hope so as everything needs a good soaking. Fire bans are in place and now there isno outside fires allowed(ought to be hard on the encampments) Don't buy any excavating type toys unless you want your garden all rearranged!!!) Hello Ed, ty for the P-P and PD. Stamp my authority? Not like me! I just go about doing my job and quietly arrange things as I want with the approval of my boss. I will leave a signed note in a book for all to see re. the disgarded books. The politics do tend to spoil my time there. However I do enjoy working there and the friendships I have made. Now time for dinner. It will be a reheated serving of my Pea and Ham soup plus garlic bread. I couldn't eat it all last night. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, scrolling down I saw a week old post from you about little Ed. You said his father takes him to football and swimming. Great. You also mentioned not see him as naughty as he is now and you wondered if his need for attention was due to the arrival of his little sister. I would say that you are spot on. He also seems to be a little boy who loves / needs outside activities also someone to play with him. I hope that your purchase of outside games helps. Still raining here.

Hello Ed, TY for the Peace Dove. I am having an at home day today. Our nice weather has now turned Wintery again. Raining at the moment. Did I tell you that the Op shop does not belong to a larger group? In other words independent. We raise money for the Rosebud hospital and local schools. Plus various other charities in the local area. The backroom volunteers all work in certain areas sorting and preparing the donations to go into the shop. Books are my priority however I also sort CD's DVD's vynals and games if time permits. My area is a small room behind the main sorting room. It is also where the many large bags of dirty or damaged  clothing and shoes go for recyling. It is a cramped space. I am glad that you heard from your friend and you are wise just to listen to him and not comment or judge. Given that he has bone cancer and has just left his family for a new relationship I am sure that he is confused and really needs someone to just listen to him. Enjoy your day.

Ooh loved Pacman. I have a very addictive personality so i have to be careful. When I was getting up at 3am to spot critters for quests, I knew I had to stop. Now, I just play low level.
A sopping cat just jumped on my lap, so i guess it's raining.
Quiz night is done. Didn't do too badly.

I started playing very near the beginning. No quests at all then. No Unicorns! No zodiac! I think there is too much to do now. A friend at work got me into fairyland.  Ironically I don't talk to her now.
How did you get into fairyland?

Good morning splash--It is sunny and humid first thing thins morning so looks like another shut in day(and no golf to watch) Not an excuse for Shefler but seen his regular caddie wasn't there which I am sure puts things a little out of kilter.  Didn't really stick around for the playoffs but left it on and heard Rose end it,he has done it before but not at his age so good on him, All will be quiet until Thurs but we will have some know it alls predicting who,what and when for at least a couple of days prior. We are sill hot and humid so I guess that means inside again(good thing is we don't have the smoke) Have a good day.
