Hello Ed, you didn't wake me. In fact I had a great sleep last night. I am home again after working at the OP shop. Happily I managed to shelves lots of books, DVD's and Cds. The discs sell well so I guess a lot of people still have the players as I do. Many tourist arriving in Rye for the Australia Day long weekend. I had to call into the supermarket on my way home and it was crazy. Another heat wave coming tomorrow so the beaches will be packed. Enjoy your day.

Morning splash--it is clear and -6 this morning so far and not sure when our next snow stormy day is supposed to hit, Tea was good ,we had a few new ones so conversations were interesting. Yes apparently  Carney got a standing ovation which is rare and he wrote his own speech*not a bunch of writers for him) but then trump called him some names and on we go. I didn;t get to see anyone in the office as it was sort of crowded yesterday -I think with others that have lost their stuff from the lockers(there is some thing of value that are missing out of peoples stuff.*() one lady collects porcelen dolls and a couple are missing,a set old old named dishes are missing) so either they disappear in the transition or some people got into those apartments unsupervised and helped them selves or something. I don't know if golf is on or not----it should be the second gamr in Hawaii .But I think there is some curling so that ought to keep me occupied, Have fun with you snooker--never even tried that one but as you said before--you go to play for fun not got to win. Hello Ed, the Australian Open is somewhat more casual than Wimbledon regarding the audience. However Osaka was turning it into a circus re. players. I hope that it does not catch on. I want to see sports people ready for their event not putting on a crazy fashion parade. Just imagine the participants in the Tour De France, Golf and other world wide sports doing that? Tennis does not need that sort of publicity. I would actually call it CHEATING as I am sure that she threw her opponent off the game. Tennis is not a circus. GRRRR!

Hello Ed, I guess that you are sleeping? I had another lovely morning when I went for my usual coffee and a lot of the Monday Morning Coffee Club turned up at the same time. So naturally we all sat down to chat. Now I am just pottering around doing household tasks. I have booked the Guttering people that I used a year ago to come and quote on the other side of my house now that the trees have been cleared. The sea air can damage metal. Re. Australian comedy I have never heard of 'Sando.' An Australian comedy that I remember was "Aunty Jack." Late 60's or early 70's? It was quite funny and Monty Python like. I hope that I didn't wake you.

Morninng splash-- We are waiting for the other shoe to drop. First round is not too bad and traffic is still moving but they are forecasting another bout with old man winter  at around noon today--don't have to go out. Yesterday  The trip up to the hospital went well(I have good taxi drivers and they make sure i get into and out of the building safely)I arrived and 9:20 ,checked in and went  straight into see the doctor. He did his thing (he scraped the wound so it would bleed) aand then the nurse put the coban back on and I was out of there by 9:50. Seen as I was home early gathered up the laundry,gave Sagwa some treats and went downstairs. When I got the clothes in the dryer came back upstairs and fed Sagwa ,gathered the garbage and went back down--nearly blew away trying to push the walker over the snow  in the wind,made it and then scurried back into the warmth and safety. Laundr all done and put away. Today is just odd jobs and maybe catch my poor guy in the office and go for more heat for me. Tea today so that will be nice  long as some people show up--the one lady won't be there as she is getting cataracts done(a whole nest of seniors with a whole bunch of problems.
