The Diwali food was lovely.  A lot of work though.
Will be shutting my support soon as I am off to Isle of Man on Wednesday.  Once again I am baby sitting.  I don't mind at all.

Morning splash- It is very fall like looking outside, cloud covered but very bright looking with all the color of the trees. The trees have turned quite fast now which also means they will fall fast and give us that barren look. I don't think I have many jobs to do today,last night daughter and grand-daughter came over and put identifying on my walker. So now I have my name in 2 places and then right up on the front -daughter put a bright green cat peeking over. Whilst Jessica got  Sagwa's full  attention for a good brushing and alittle play time. I think I have everything I can do done now so will be  a quiet Sat, of just watch either golf or the curling this afternoon vut it won't be baseball as that has got too stressful. Have a good day.

Hello Ed, TY for the Peace Dove and Sunlight seed. The Mansfield family arrived just after 10 a.m. which means that they left in the dark. I have enjoyed a wonderful day with them. Mostly playing  with the children. Today I beagan teaching little Stevie to knit. She spotted my knitting and expressed the desire to learn.  She is picking it up quite quickly and now wants to sit and knit with me all time. I did have to encourage outside time for her and enjoyed watching Stevie and Jaxon playing firemen. Rushing up and down and around my garden using plastic cricket bats as hoses. "is the fire out yet? Copy. Over" It was so entertaining. Then after dinner and showers it was time to sit and read to the children before bed. And now they are also reading to me. It was a great day. Enjoy yours.

splashed---p-p ty It is a completely cloud covered morning of only 5 so good thing I planned a indoor stay at home day. Got the laundry all done and put away now today is to do all the floors.(the good thing is they shoud stay that way until I get home seen as Kevin goes around here inhis sock feet and dusts them continuously. Funny thing -when we were kids mom would put wax on the fllors and then my brother and I used to practice skating with a pair of dads old socks on!! I guess I was wrong--the Jays are at least putting up a good fight and might throw a scare into everyone. Still won't watch  continuously as the nerves will not take it!! Have a good day
