 The Garden Wall

Hello Ed, dinner now done. It was roasted chicken wings with a lovely sauce. Veggies of course. I have been researching native Moonah trees to replace the trees that I had chopped down. I will go to the nursery to purchase 2 on Thursday. I will also ask them about other native trees that I can plant as the back garden is now looking somewhat bare.

Pair of lovebirds ty

Hello ED, TY for the mouse. Can you get a canopy for Sandra's cart? I have seen people here with canopies and plastic shields. As you may see from the timing of my messages it only took me 30 minutes to move the hoses. It is all uphill and down dale here with rocky and sandy paths. I use my walking stick for security. And of course my watering system still remains complicated. Fairly sure that I have sorted it. Now I have a sprinkler on my lemon and Olive tree out the back and have moved the wave like one to the front. It was the wave like one that the birds were enjoying.  I will have to go up and out the back to check that my olive tree ios getting its fair share of water. The birds did protest and I can't blame them as it is getting really hot here. Hopefully they will find the wave one in the front yard. Enjoy your new day.

Hello Ed, well Djok lost the Grand Slam. I was impressed by his speech afterwards. He was never a favourite of mine, unlike Federer, however I may have to review my thinking. At the moment I have several sprinklers on and as I sit outside I see many birds enjoying them. I need to move the main sprinkler that acts like a wave. I hope that the birds do not mind me relocating it.

Hello ED, what a kind lady to help you with your card purchase. Lynne can't make it as she had gear change problems with her bus. She was all loaded up and ready to drive here when she had to rurn around and go back home. I wonder what was going down at your op shop? Yesterday at my shop, Mal, the man who throws books away didn't work in the morning so that was one of the reasons I had many books to shelve. I just wish that he would concentrate on the games and jigsaws as the shelves are nearly empty. I think that I will have a look at my art bag today as we meet again tomorrow for the first time this year. Enjoy your day.

Morning splash-- It is one of this picture postcard looking mornings--we got a heavy frost last night so all the trees are coated and we have nice blue sky and sun shine so everything sparkles. None of my other cats needed  thier claws clipped but as I have said Sagwa seem to have talons not claws and they are really heavy and grow fast and of course he won't let me clip them. People must be doing a purge in their h ouses as I notice just about all the second hand stores are overflowing and having sales.I am still trying to work up the energy and such to take the garbage down--it is very cold out there and I don't like cold but I guess I will just have to suck it up and do it. Have a good day and I hope you don't get wet on your walk.

Hello Ed, Lynne's bus is huge and takes up my drive way. She did drive it around Australia some years ago. Back then she had dogs, not cats. Re. camping. I love your camping story about Spain. When I was young my parents would usually drive to Sydney and at first we all slept in the car. Mum and Dad in the front and my brother and I in the boot. We had a trailer that dad turned into storage and kitchen. Then we upgraded to a tent! WOW! Such luxury! My parents didn't purchase a caravan until after I had left home. However I remember so many wonderful camping holidays.

Sprinkles! :)

Hello Ed, no Mum won't come and stay with me because she worries about her dog and thinks that Bella would bother the cats. I think that the real reason is that she is perfectly happy at home in the village and doesnt want to bother with packing and staying some where else. Fair enough.
