Morning splash-- I am up and with this new time it is still dark outside. Everything looks clear so hopefully no rain until I get back. Off to the eye doctor this morning so that is an early appointment. Snow is really disappearing here just the big snowbanks where snow was piled are still sort of there. It is 7 and cloudy according to my computer. I won't be doing any wandering after my appointment as I get the full exam today which means the drops and fuzzy eyesight.  Have a good day

Hello Ed, my brothers and I are in constant contact with Mum. I rang her tonight and reassured her that I will take care of her dog if she needs to go to hospital. She has an emergancy alarm. I have the numbers for her keypad to get into her unit if needs be. Ambulance can also get in. Just waiting for her antibotics to kick in. Fingers and toes crossed.

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. Home again after visiting Mum. I must say that I cannot remember seeing her looking so unwell. I am quite concerned. Gave her lunch and fed her dog. Then did her dishes and tidied up a bit. Worried.

Hello Ed, I spoke to Mum this evening and she sounded some what better. I plan to go to her tomorrow.Happily Mindy walked up to me as I was sitting outside 20 minutes ago. She rubbed herself around my legs. Now she is safely inside. I will sleep a little better tonight after speaking to Mum. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, I have spoken to Mum. She does sound unwell. Not like her. I will go there tomorrow to see what I can do. Sarah and family left mid morning. They are now home in Mansfield. Enjoy your new day.

splashed--It is not bad this morning-- plus 2 and cloudy and out of sync and our clocks went ahead last night. The shopping trip went fine and I was good  only bought a bag of frozen french fries for the freezer and the rest was fresh produce. Yes bear huntin is still allowed but is a little more restricted and think that must have been an older show as the licence is a lot more that $80 and most of the bear hunts are through  hunt camps. Kevin got my income taxes all done so that is over for another year. Although convenient I don't think I would trust any of these government to take the righ amount of taxes off for me. Just supper to figure today and then I can watch golf and see what happend--a large lead quite often crumbles. Have a good day.

Hello ED, TY for the Mallard. I have been enjoying my time with Sarah and family. Not long ago I got a phone call from my brother saying that Mum has been unwell for the since last Thursday. I wish that he had called me earlier. Too late to call her tonight. I will call her in the morning. Chris told me that it is a virus. I would really like to have known earlier. I am feeling somewhat stressed. Mum is 93.
