Hello Ed, the first thing I have to say is that Mum is doing extremely well and the doctors nurses etc are pleased with her progress but in no hurry to send her home. I didn't go there today as both my brothers were visiting her as did Allen her nephew. I will go tomorrow so she has someone there. I have spoken to her on the phone and I am happy about how she sounds as my brothers are about how she looks and moves. Now for something weird. My youngest brother is interested in searching in searching the Paull family tree. He has been in contact with a women who is also doing the same. When Michael looked her up in Facebook she has a friend named Greg Dagg. Greg is one of the 4 siblings to inherit the boatshed and holiday house. I rang Terase, Greg's older sister today and asked if she knew Tracy Coulsen a distant relative of mine and Terase immediately told me YES. The links were incredible and strong. Terase and I started to think that I may have met Tracy at the boatshed over the years. I facebooked Tracy and she confirmed the connection to Terase's family. Not 6 degrees of connection. One degree. Terase's daughter even lived with Tracy for 6 months. Tracy has since sent me photos of older people in her family and there is my Grandmother on the Paull side. Also a great Aunty Peg. I knew their faces. Dad wasn't good at keeping in contact with his family apart from visiting his parents and visiting Aunty Peg in Sydney once a year when I was a child. Never saw many photos of his family. How weird is that my long term Rye friends are so connected with a family member of mine?

splashed-- Happy Mothers day to all the mothers in the household. It is once again winter her--snowing lightly at the moment and -4 but even the computer doesn't know what to predict. A moment ago it was calling for heavy snow and now its saying rain and snow and more snow on Tues. I guess we will continue just looking out the window and hoping for a glimse of spring. Not much exciting going on here, unless you call gold for the mixed wheelchair curling team--it was heat stopping, game tied and seconds left for him to throw the last rock--but it curled in nicely abumped his roock in for the score,I watched the whole game but that ending I couldn't watch had to go into the kitchen for the 3 seconds for it to end.. I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy yourself.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. Mum is now in the Dandenong hospital and in a ward. She is being well looked after there and the doctors were angry that she was released from the heart hospital so soon. I will drive there tomorrow to visit her. Now I need to go to bed.

Hello Ed, Mum's Christian names are Jean Evelyn Butson. Her marrried surname is Paull. I packed this morning, made sure that the cats had plenty of food and water for 24 hours and drove to Dandenong. When I arrived my nephew Allen was putting Mum in his car. I was conƒused... However Allen quickly told me that Mum had been released too soon from the Monash Heart Hospital and he was now taking her to the Dandenong hospital. 2 blocks away. I should have followed them but I was stunned and made the poor decision to drive back home. The Dandenong hospital had a bed ready for her in emergancy. Allen and Maggie are still with her. The hospital told them that she should not have been released from the heart hospistal. I plan to drive to Dandenong tomorrow to see her.

splashed-- peace dove ty. It is -5 and very windy and there is snow and a mess on the ground. More snow maybe today too -so good day to stay home and stay warm.  March is now roaring like the lion it is supposed to come in like so I just hope it is enough so we can start getting some nice weather,I don't think I ever tried snooker but you seem to have taken to it as a ping replacement. I will get to turn on the golf this afternoon but for some reason it is very flat feeling --unless it is the anouncers. The golf channel seems to get stuck on a few players and the rest don't exist. Have a good day

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. I am packing now for my night with Mum. Taking my art supplies to hopefully engage her. Not bothered if she doesn't want to. Also taking a crochet problem to her that I have. That may spark her interest. Her Grandson Allen is leaving his blow up mattress at Mum's so at least I do not have to sleep on the couch. I will go back to my packing now. Enjoy your day.
