Morning splash-- very foggy morning and we are 12 to begin the day. I am off in a short up to the hospital for an ultra  sound on my leg to see if the surgery is still working.Then back home in time to grab some lunch and then off to tea--I hope. Nurse did show up with the coban and ordered more which should be delivered today --then we can relax on that for a few weeks. I know  prices have gone up since we did all our powers of attorney and will but I think we paid just over $250.00 for the whole lot.I don't know how your system works over there but here it gets very complicated  without them and heaven help you if anyone questions a decision. Hello Ed, I am nearly ready for bed. Not sure that I will bother getting the 2nd M.M. Book. I did finally enjoy her memoir. Re. Pat and Hertfordshire. I did have a feeling that you were close by. Also my oldest childhood friend lives there. Re. Mum, I think that we have coached her well and as we will all be there at the meeting we will ensure that she tells it as it is for her. I think that she needs a watch like we have. Although it will not suit her idea jewelry. Mum likes elegant jewels. Re. Trump I have been closely watching everything. I am pleased that Canada is remaining firm. Trump really needs to be IMPEACHED as he is insane! I daily read Heather Cox Richardson's posts. She is a Professor of American History and Politics. She tells it as she sees it without all the show biz stuff. No grab takes from the internet. Any way before I get all stirred up again about what Trump is doing I will bid you a good day as I am about to go to bed.

Hello Ed, I went to the Optomertist day for an eye check and he confirmed that my long distance sight has improved significantly. He also reassured me that there were no signs of Glaucoma. They have it on the records that Mum has it and they always check.  So I will get new glasses in about 2 weeks. Tomorrow I am meeting a friend from Mansfield days. I taught her son and she also taught at my school. So it will be a great catch up at my coffee shop. Then I am off to Cranbourne to join a family meeting with a carer to discuss what Mum will need when she returns to her unit. Mum will also be in the meeting. My youngest brother really wants me there. Enjoy your new day.

Morning splash---It is really splashing and banging and booming--it is 14 and we have a whopping thunderstorm going on continuously. I slept last night  with no wake ups for a change.until almost 7 this morning and even with the banging and booming Sagwa was not trying to get under me but once I really looked he was curled up beside the bed. He is now having a morning nap infront of me om the desk.. I like Dianne never use the self checkout.I don't like the feeling of someone watching me like I may do something wrong; Besides its just another way for them to cheap out and save on paying cashieers who in our case is usually some high school type student earning  minimun wage. I don't know about well done crispburgers(don't think it was that king of charcoal that is the good stuff for you !!I have to get busy and do the floors this morning and I haave a nurse who I hope remembers we have no coban for my leg and there has been no delivery.Have a good day and good luck with the groceery shopping.

Hello Ed, your supermarket checkout problems can be avoided by not going through the self serve thing. I refuse to do that. I love chatting with the cashiers. Today as I was getting ready for my goods to go through a man ahead of me  was chatting to the cashier and I joined the conversation. He was amusing. He mentioed that he had been driving a truck for 8 hours. When he left I noticed that a bottle of milk was still there. I told the cashier that it was most likely his. She rushed out of the store and called out to him and happily he turned back and she gave him his milk. She thanked me for pointing it out and then we chatted. Another reason for not doing the self serve! I think that I was mistaken about Pat living near you? She lives in Hertsfordshire. I enjoyed my re heated dinner as I watched a bit of TV. Now I am getting ready for bed and a new book. Enjoy your day.
