Hello Ed, after on 2 meetings of The Monday Morning Coffee Group I think that it is a bit early for T shirts. However an interesting idea. The only 2 gentlemen who join us both support Collingwood. We didn't speak about the loss today. I call them gentlemen because when I arrived Michael leapt up and grabbed a chair for me and then offered me a blanket that the shop provides. We sit outside as the shop is really a grocery store inside. They have tables and chairs for people like us to sit on outside. When I first arrived I couldn't see anyone, then I rounded the corner and there they were huddled away from the sea wind. "Oh good." I said as I greeted them, "I was starting to think that I was the only one turning up." They laughed and told me that I still have friends. It wasn't quite my initiatve. Tall Sue, we have 2 Sues, and I were speaking a couple of weeks ago about how wonderful it was when we all accidently caught up. Sue came up with the idea and then I told everyone that I met daily on my walk about it. Well the ones that I know. I didn't tell the dogs, Tommy and Penny who seem to love me. Funny how you get to know the dog's names and not the owners.  Dinner done, and I did some knitting before hand whilst watching Antique Roadshow. Now tired me is thinking about bed and to continue reading the book about Peter Cook. Interesting. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, TY for the Mouse. Yes it was a sad loss for Collingwood. We had our 2nd gathering of The Monday Morning Coffee Club which was fun. This afternoon I worked at the Op shop and gosh there were a lot of donations. I was kept busy. Thinking that I will go and do some knitting now before I prepare dinner. Enjoy your travels.

Morning splash-- It is a nice sunny start to the day and so far no smoke and air quality alerts. Yes a totally different way of bringing up children and the worst of it is when they go to school the teachers are expected to deal with these undisiplined kids.  The prices for the Jays games are a bit steep and will probable go up again for each level of the playoffs that they can get too. But I guess you have to pay if you want to see the game and not just a bunch of ants running around the field you need good seats. I don't think we ever paid when we went-- a lot of corporate seats that were donated(we were right behing the dugout when they played Atlanta  in the world series --great seats if the big far guys in front of me would have stayed sitting(watched a lot peeking around to see the jumbotron. I still have to get at the frig and frig freezer so maybe I can do it this morning. Have a good day.

Hello Ed, Little Ed does seem to have problems. Are his parents distracted by other things? I wonder if little Ed is seeking much needed attention that he is not getting at home? Shouting at his Grandmother is not good. However a 5 year old shouting at his Grandmother is a cry for help. Does his father take him out for adventures? Just the 2 of them? The teacher in me feels that Little Ed is feeling ignored and that is why he misbehaves. Being naughty will at least get him attention even if it is not good. It is hard to compete with a much adored little sister. Someone needs to find out what interests him and motivate him and enjoy the same. I guess he is too young for school at the moment. Does he go to Kindergarten/ Preschool? It would be interesting to know how he is there. Oh it it so hard for me to take off my teacher hat. However, I love wearing it. My dinner was a small disaster as I suddenly discovered I was out of mushrooms to go with the free steak etc. I am now thinking bed and no surzprises  book. Hugs.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse and Ruby seed. Wow you had a busy family day. Did Talia finish the puzzle?  Remind me again how young is the naughty one. Usually first born children are better behaved than second born. I am having a quiet day at home catching up on a few chores. The sun is shining which is a distraction. Lovely video chat with Hope and her 2 sons, Liam and Ethan. They are stuck inside in Sydney due to heavy rain. Hope purchased balloons to keep the boys active and that seems to be working. Last week Hope sent me a video of her reading a book that I have given to all of my Grandchildren. The Wide Mouth Frog. Whenever any of them are here it is a must requested read. 6 yo Liam was saying the words of the frog and I had a chuckle as he was saying the words with the same accent that I give to the frog. Now I must put my bins out and perhaps do some knitting. Enjoy your day.
