Morning splash--field mouse ty The sun has just broke through and it is -11,a little cold but not as bad as they were talking about the arrctic air that is coming out way. Yes,I look very picky at a lot of these dinner type things as my plate looks half empty compared to some others,but I noticed even Kevin is slowing down on the amount of food he takes. I am taking a me day today--laid in bed this morning and petted Sagwa then cooked me a breakfast of an omelet and toast and now doing the gardens in a leisurly pace. Today I will just feed me and Sagwa and go back to everything tomorrow and then Tues will go see if I can get finished with the rest of the shopping and then wrapping(although I have been doing the bags more and more. Have a good day

Hello Ed, that is a funny story about Little Ed. Reminds me of a school family from Mansfield. The father of the little boy said, "I have to go and get something. I will be back in a fews secs. Let your Mum know." The little boy then found his mother and asked, "What is secs / sex?" The mother sighed and then tried to explain it to him as she had always vowed to answer questions honestly. She then went into a bit of detail about how babies are made. Her son was looking puzzled so she asked him why was he asking? Her son then told her that his Dad had told him to tell her that he would be back in a few secs. True story. Enjoy your day.

splashed-- a bright day but no sun and would you beleive its only -3 so I guess we will maybe have some melting later..I don't know if I would call it hosting but daughter and family usually come over for lunch time Christmas day for a few hours. The big deal is boxing day/ when every one shows up and we add a number to our family I thought of going shopping today but changed my mind and will goon Tues when the kids are still in school and maybe it maybe a little quieter. It really gets to me when the kids are using the store as a playground and screeching at the top of their voices;Everything seems to be fine here--I tire quickly still but no reall pain and I am still getting around , only now I think the snail is winning Have a good day

Hello Ed, once again we are at each other's gate. I love that. The ants were little ones. Hopefully I have solved it with nasty sprays. I think that I know the alphabet that you purchased. A couple of years ago  my grandaughter, Arja had them here for her children. I still sometimes find them attached to things outside. lthough it is still daylight I am looking forward to bed and hopefully finish my book. I am enjoying the book. Alexander McCall Smith is an amusing author. Mungo is inside and now I just hve to get Mindy in. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, connection with the alphabet certainly helps. Are they in capital letters? Much prefered for the little ones. Spelling is tricky as the letter A can be sounded 'Ay' or 'ah'. B can be 'Bee or bu.' and so on.  And have a look in a dictionary re the spelling of 'H'. Facinating. It all depends on if you went to a Catholic school or protestant school. Back to cleaning. Hello Ed, Frank passed the inspection. The only thing he has to do is get a dishwasher for the area that he cooks in. Went for my coffee this morning nd the shop was closed due to an electrical problem. So I drove into Rye to get a few groceries and purchased a coffee there. I hope that he is open tomorrow as I really want to buy my fruit and veggies there. Then I went into the room that Shannon and family will occupy to vaccuum. I discovered lots of ants in there. Just what I needed. So now I have a spray going and the room is closed off. I guess that I will have to vaccuum again when I can enter the room. I will also spray around the outside where I think that the ants are coming in. Now to work on my Library putting away my art materials and a general tidy up in there. Working my way to the front of the house. Enjoy your new day.
