Morning splash-- The sun is making an attempt to shine through but once again we are in a deep freeze (-20 right now) Oh the stores do clean their sidewalks but I think half the time we get more  snow and even a little layer with all the people walking on it ,it gets packed down and Icey. With it super cold again I will just stay in my warm apartment and look at that stuff outside. Beleive me we know about gout,both Kevin and Scott have in herited my weakness for it and have had bouts of it and the worst of it is the medicine to get rid of it has cause kidney problems in me. I just flipped around yesterday but ended up with watching a bunch of the golf then I gave up after supper and went to bed and read. Have a nice walk to town to day and a good day.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. I am somewhat confused. Are you telling me that this was real and not a dream? If real I hope that your friend and his real wife can work it out. Finished dinner and sat down to watch some TV almost fell asleep and then my watch buzzed me. Time to get up and move around. What a nagging thing it is! Oh well!

Me again, how is the gout today? It must be painful if your hand looks like a boxing glove. I sometimes get ringing in my ear when I m stressed. HUGS.

Hello Ed, home again after my usual busy Monday. Only 4 of us today at the Coffee Club. Then all the materials for my guttering was delivered. They are going to start at approx 7 a.m. tomorrow. I will have to set my alarm so that I am up and dressed before they arrive. I will also have to move my car onto the street as I don't want to be blocked in. The usual busy Monday at the op shop. Not many customers but lots of donations. I haven't heard from Lynne yet re. her bus. And I am like you, I do chat to not only the cashiers but also people waiting in the queue. Another reason for me avoiding the area where you have to do your own check in. I also always address the cashiers by their name. They appreciate that. Now as to your dream / real. I think that yoiu told me you did not actually get a message from your friend's wife. So it must have been a dream even if you felt that you were awake at the time. I would be interested if you have the dream again. Just remember that our dreams are our subconscious thinking, often trying to work something out and people in our dreams are aspects of ourself. Does that make sense? Enjoy your new day.

Morning splash-- pygmy mouse ty It is totally freezing again this morning but I am not going near the outside today. Yesterday even had Kevin bundling up and putting on the toque with the face mask. I had a hood on my jacket but it did little good withe wind and I really could walk in the slushy stuff on the ground. A walker is useless in that stuff and no way could I run or hurry so my fingers and face got the flash freeze getting into the store, Took me almost a half hour to warm up,but did get all the shopping done that I needed and then we came home and had to navigate the parking lot. Good son that Kevin is he brought over his fancy mop and bucket and washed all my floors then vaccumed too. I am staying intoday as it is still extreme cold outside. Did watch the olympic most of yesterday afternoon and will turn it on here soon again. If you can get the real cherry juice--drink it and it really helps with gout. Have a good day

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. Yes I do sit under a verandah. At the back where I sit is a large covered space the size of 2 big rooms. Lucky me. One day I will send you a photo of it. Perhaps when Lynne finally gets here I will ask her to take a photo of me sitting at the outside table with my lap top. I had a lovely afternoon meeting a new neighbour. I was putting out a bin and she was working on her nature strip. I waved and she waved back. Then I decided to go up and introduce myself. She is very chatty and it turns out she is a newly retired teacher and school principal. So I imagine that we we will have lots of chats. My street has only 10 houses in it. Some are holiday homes. There is only 1 house where I have not met the residents and I think that they are full time here. I never see them outside. Re. The Mighty Quinn I don't think that I have a photo of myself wearing it. However, Lynne's sister responded to my post saying that she remembers me wearing it. We did get some heavy rain this afternoon but not the electrical storms I was hoping for. Enjoy your new day.
