Morning splash-- mallard ty. The computer is say 5 and cloudy but right now there is sun shine so we will just hope it stays. Yes I think that there is some happy hunters and the pressure is off now that there is meat in the freezers The ones yesterday were not jakes(year old) but only weighed in at 17-18 pounds. But plenty of meals off them as they are all cut up now. I have to tackle the appartment today--for some reason the floor all seem sticky ,sothey have to be washed and I have to cut up stuff for salads and figure out what I plan to eat. We don't have a may 1st holiday but celebrate the official royal birthday on the 18th--Victoria Day. Have a go0d day

Hello Ed, TY for the Mouse and Ruby seed. Dinner now done and I enjoyed it! I have a number of films on video tape of the plays that I was in. I really should get them copied to digital. I have a video player but am not really sure if it works or connected. Something else for my children to sort out. My Granddaughter, Grace graduated today as a nurse. So proud of her! And the funny thing is that when she left school she wanted to  be a motor mechanic like her Dad. She spent a year as an apprentice in Mansfield then decided that Nursing was what she really wanted to do. Her graduation photo is on my FB page. Now I am really ready for bed and have almost finished the book about the Australian Bookshop in Paris. It is not a keeper for me however I have stayed with it. My next book is one that many members of the Monday Morning Coffee Club have reccommended and shared. My turn to read it. Well it is goodnight from me and wishing you a great day!

Hello Ed, I have been busy with laundry today. All washed, dried and mostly sorted. Then late this afternoon I sorted out the many bags of things that Mum gave to me to rid of. Mostly copied cd's and dvd's that Dad did. Sadly they cannot be sold in the Oppie so they ended up in my recycling bin. Dad did enjoy down loading and copying the covers. He filled the lounge room with them. I often wonder if he ever looked / listened to them again. It is now time for me to make dinner. Night has fallen and the cats want to be inside. And yes I can hear the surf. So I must also go inside. Enjoy your new day!

Morning splash-- It is 8 with light rain so they say but it is getting quite bright here so maybe sunshine before the rain--Turkey central is in full swing this morning==Rhonda got one--she ssent pictures becauce she didn't want to wake me at 6:30 but by 7:30  I was up so she phoned. Was talking to her when we heard a boom--first thought it was Scott but nope.it was Kevin.Next he calls me and I hear his story--his turkey went swimming after it was shot ,so now he has the bird handing to dry out while they wait as Scott had a bunch of birds around him this morning too. Now to try and get on with my day. Tea today so I only have the morning and its half gone now so try to get a few thing s done before I have to get out of here, Have a good day.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. Reheated dinner done and I enjoyed it. I am starting to think that Mungo has dental issues as I detected bad breathe. I will have to make a Vet appointment. I will soon go to bed and perhaps continue reading the book about the Australian Bookshop in Paris? I am so close to the end of the book however it is not really drawing me in. So it is good night from me and enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. Sorry to worry you about Mungo. Last night he was acting weird and last night when I carried him in (unusual) he settled at my feet in the Library and wasn't interested in food. That was when I left off messaging and decided to take him to bed to keep an eye on him. He seems OK today. I visited Mum and it took me nearly 2 hours to get there due to road closures etc. Not long after my arrival a Podiatrist turned up. Part of Mum's Care package. He was a lovely young man and I as I sat there holding Mum's dog I envied the foot care. Haha! I think that I will have to make an appointment. I am now home and will soon prepare dinner. Howis your day?
