Morning splash--I don't know what kind of day we have today-temperature must be fine as I have the window and the door open(the door for his lordship as he was meowing this morning at it to be open so he can sleep in front of it) But can't see anything as we are socked in with fog. Foog might be a good thing with all the forest fires as at least the air is damp. I think Shefler locked up the fedex trophy with his win the last tournament but "if" he doesn't win the tournament this week it is only a tournament that someone else can win. Shefler and MacIlroy are partnered for the first two rounds so might be interesting on how that goes,Touch wood!! the glasses don't seem to be bad this morning,whether is is rest eyes,the light or I am getting used to them but so far I have not been having trouble. Yes I know the problem of frozen milk and the jug being empty or off--I can thaw it fairly quickly by putting the bag in cold water but that is probably cereal for lunch time. Off to try and do a few things,will be going with Kevin on Fri to the big Costco store(and hope it is quiet) to get a new big screeen tv because I think my luck will run out soon. I have been pushing igt as my tv was not new when I got it and moved in here(it was a working one the Scot had and it wasn't new then --every week I think I add a new line to the screen.

Hello Ed, dinner done and despite the mushrooms I am still alive. I finished reading the WW2 book this morning. An amazing true story of 3 sisters who survived the dreadful concentration camp and the notorious death march. Now I am almost ready for bed and a lighter read. 'The Great Escape from Woodlands Nursing Home', by Joanna Nell. I will let you know tommorrow how it is going. Enjoy your new day.

Hello Ed, A quiet day here. Supermarket briefly for cat food. Trying to clean carpets of stains. May have to look up my Shannon Lush book as the sprays really didnt do it. Night is now falling so I will close up the house and do some more knitting before preparing dinner. Steak, musrooms, tomatoes and salad are in the menu. Speak later. Enjoy your day.

Morning splash---It is dull and overcast this morning so I better get in the forward gear today and hop to it as we are to get a good soaking of rain(maybe if it gets here seen as they have called for rain a lot of times but it doesn't reach us. I am going to get the golf done before I get involed with baseball,once more 4 round and we will see. Someone else can still win the next round and Shefler should still win the Fedex seen as the most they can win is 2000 points and he is probably close to 4000 points ahead as they say right now he is in a league of his own. Went to see about my glasses last night--I now have to wear the progressives all the time(no cheating and wearing my reading glasses) I will wear them continualy for a week and see if it makes my eyes adjust -if not back to the optometrist to get thing changes, Kristine picked up a new walker for me(new to me but at a garage sale) it has bigger wheels making it easier to push and is a bit higher so I don't hunch over. Going to use the old one out on the balcony as a moving seat and I can load thing on it(garbage) to wheel stuff around and not muck up the new one, Quite happy with it as the other one was a bit small and h
