Morning splash-Once again this morning it is wet but the temperatures are rising so at least it will warm up. It was a very wet cold weekend and some areas got a lot of freezing rain so they are disaster areas with tree branches down and a lot without hydro--we escaped with just a light coating of ice Sunday morning. It is a shame that the cakes were at the wrong type of fair but hopefully something can be salvaged---a lesson learned and they won't go there again. Have a good meander around this morning,enjoy your coffee and cake and also your day.

Hello ED, TY for the fish. Maybe Sandra also needs to consider just having toast for breakfast? I have now had dinner and happily the cats are inside. I guess that you will know where I am sitting and what I am hearing as I write to you. I will soon be off to bed to keep reading a book about a retirement Village. It is hilarious and I can identify with so many of the characters issues/ concerns. This morning when I went for my morning coffee there was a young man working there. He knows me by my name and knows what coffee I like. Some weeks ago I established that he is from England. Well his accent gave him away. We always chat. He asked my what plans did I have for my day and I found myself saying I am working at a local charity shop. He raised his eyebrows ad said, "Don't you usually call them OP Shops here in Australia?"  I laughed and told him about you and how I had to train myself to refer to the shop as a Charity Shop. And our American and Canadian friends call them Charity Stores. I hope that you have a great day .

Hello ED, such a shame that Sausage's cake stall did not go well.  I am home again after my Monday afternoon shift at the Charity Shop. A typical Monday with lots of donations over the weekend. I certainly had a lot of books to deal with. Enjoy your day.

Good morning splash--pygmy mouse ty. Thank you for the mothers day greetings--nice way to gretting from all over the world is to have people scattered around in different countries.Seen as its mothers day there I am sure you will hear from Tracey and I do hope things went well--cake is not good for you!!. We watched the golf until Kevin leeft and Lee was reall on a hot streak so we will see how it goes today. Kevin left in the afternoon jusst in case the weather turned--it waas 0 all day which means it could go either way and I guess it did overnight as Kevin says the truck is all coated with ice. I will spend the morning repackaging and then plan to retire and watch the golf for the afternoon. Have a good day.
