Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. That was a funny request re me measuring my tables. Not sure that that will help you? I have a number of tables and various chairs and not a dedicated table for puzzles. I do love doing jigsaw puzzles but haven't really done any for some time. I'm sure that if I visited you I would be tempted to add a few pieces. We often get FRAMED Jigsaws at the Op shop. It is now time for me to snuggle down in bed. Good Night My Freind!

Hello Ed, so now you are the owner of a porcelin doll. Those dolls are for show and not to be played with as you are aware. They can be quite beautiful however most are not vintage or antique. I think that the dolls you should really be looking for Sandra to create clothes for are the plastic ones. They often arrive in my oppie without clothes. The lady in charge of toys tries to find clothes to dress them in and then they sell. It is a lovely Autumn day here. I am mostly getting washing sorted. Enjoy your new day!

splashed-- singing  bush lark ty Well we are -1 and sunny at least. Yesterdday was just wave after wave of snow flying but none of it seems to have stuck around here. I said the wrong name yesterday--it was Fitzpatrick that I was watching and Sheffler doing a usual run up. Once again both players deserved to win, Fitzpatrick is the first Europeon to win the Heritage in ages and was surprise to see only his 5th win although that could be in the states. Had a surprise visitor yesterday--Ryley and his new girlfriend delivered a head of lettuce and a 1/2 to me and had a nice little visit. Off to get busy and get something done while I have the get up and go. I should clean the pigeon poo from my balcony but will wait a bit and hope it dries as washing will only put the stuff down lower than me. Have a good day.

Hello Ed, Tracey was most likely enjoying her time with her Mum even if she took over the puzzle. I hope that Sandra enjoyed it. I had my first serving of the Pea and Ham Soup that I made the other day. Hmmm it needs more salt and pepper. Now I am really ready for bed and a book. Enjoy your new day!

Hello ED, How did the birds cope with your newly cleaned window sills? I have a feeling that it wouldn't bother them. In Melbourne, there is a tall building that a pair of Peregine Falcons return to each year to nest. They make their nest many stories up and the ledge is so small. Here at Rye we also have a pair nesting on an impossible cliff face quite near me. I enjoyed my usual Monday Morning Coffee Club and my book about Cherry the Japanese war bride was returned to me, however another member wanted to read it. I worked at the oppie this afternoon and as is usual for a Monday we had a sign on the door stating 'No Donations Today.' Sometime last week someone dumped a large mattress in front of the shop despite our signs saying 'No Furniture'. We put a sign on it saying 'Free.' however it is still there. I do wonder about people as our shop is clearly small and has no room for furniture. However once again I had a lovely afternoon with my fellow workers. I even managed to get a car parking space behind the shop. It was tricky as I had to go past a huge concrete mixing truck that was blocking most of the area and then wriggle and jiggle my car  into the space. I did worry about getting out again however the big trucks seem to leave before 4 o'clock. Now I have heated some garlic bread and will heat my Pea and Ham  soup. Enjoy your day!
