Good morning my lovely friend,  woke to a wet and mild day, so no messing about in the garden for me. But, although nothing planned, I am sure that I will find something to do.
Alexander and Sasha have flown to Egypt today for a few days.  They should get better weather.
Your dinner sounded delicious, I do enjoy a meat loaf.
Have you any plans for Thanksgiving?
Like you, I am looking forward to finishing the chicks, although it hasn't been as stressful as some of the challenges, they were only ever a 'filler in', until the December fun.

PS: thank you for your kind words about when I sick.  I probably wasn't wearing a mask when dusting, but we finally got the house nice & clean.  I had the carpet cleaned too.  I finally took down the last of the curtains needing to washed.  I found some allergy pills that really seem to help & the cough is gone (knock wood).
