I live about 25 miles outside of Manhattan, so I remember everything. My friend worked freelance IT, so where he worked changed week to week. I didn't know he was working in Tower 2 that day. As soon as Tower 1 got hit, he worked his way out even though they told them to stay put. I'll never forget his call telling me he was alive.

I'm a sneakers person lol. And for dressing up my Goth boots. Was never a high heel type of girl.
