It’s a beautiful sunny morning and I’ve been out in the garden. I had to come in when I started overheating and I’ve just had a Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles ice lolly. It was lovely and cold. My ironing is still waiting for me. It was first on the list this morning until I saw the sun and decided on the garden instead - ironing can wait. It’s sad that as we get older our bodies don’t work so well and your friend will be quite fearful for the future. I’m sure you are a great support for her. I hope you have sunshine to enjoy today.
