Roses like heat but not this hot. I deliberately selected types that can weather heat and humidity. Not going to be English roses, certainly! I do have David Austins but they are bred in and for the US market. They are all in their dormant phase now, so that helps. In a few weeks, they will start blooming again. I don't even water unless we go more than a week without rain. We've had frequent rains this summer, so only watering the pots on the patio.
