Good morning Linda. Sorry I never made it back last night, had a looong chat on the phone with my daughter and meant to pop on but before I knew it, it was 11 pm! She’d been invited to another hospital to watch a colon cancer tumour removed and the reconstruction of the bowel. Needless to say, she was in her element, loved every minute of being in theatre. Does not take after me 😂 She works in the Endoscopy unit, where they do the diagnostics. So she was delighted to see the whole procedure. I’d have needed therapy 😂I’m going down to Portsmouth late September, so looking forward to that. I loved buying dolls for Jan, her favourite was Tiny Tears, which she took with her when she left home. She also collected Garfield teddies. The two granddaughters weren’t that bothered about dolls much to my dismay. Aislinn was more into books and Thomas the tank engine, which delighted Steve. I envy you for all the pleasure you’ll get buying presents for Bella…especially for her 1st Christmas. It’s not too bad here today but thunderstorms forecast for later this afternoon. Not a fan of them so won’t be going anywhere…we’ll Mark is picking me up to go shopping, fingers crossed we dodge them! Enjoy
