Hi Linda, it’s been gorgeous all day here as well. Didn’t do much and was more than delighted when my friend popped in for a coffee with after she’d been to the hairdressers. Then my daughter phoned, it was raining in Portsmouth, which was surprising, so she was having a lazy day. My next door neighbours had their grand children visiting and it was lovely hearing the shrieks of laughter in the back garden. It’s usually very quiet as all the children in the close are now parents themselves. Must admit, it started wearing a bit thin when they were still playing out at 9pm 😂 Funny you mentioning the hot air balloon, my neighbour ( with the kids) has one and I always admire it from our bedroom window when it’s lit up. My sister-in-law sent me a photo of their garden today, they’d been to a garden centre and there in pride of place was a hot air balloon! I’ll have to get one 😂 Might be a bit difficult sleeping tonight, it’s still very warm…started watching a series on Netflix, could be a long night! Goodnight Linda, sleep well, catch up tomorrow xx
